Sony Xperia Z1 S appears on official website

The alleged international variant of the Sony Xperia Z1 F aka Sony Xperia Z1 S has appeared on the Sony’s official website. Company accidently listed the phone on the international site alongside Sony Xperia Z1, which was obviously pulled back in time. It kind of unofficially confirms that Sony is indeed planning to launch the mini flagship to the international users and it won’t be a Japan exclusive.

Sony recently announced the Sony Xperia Z1 F in Japan with HD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Company said it will be available to buy from December 2013, so the international variant of the same device is also expected to arrive around the same time.

To remind you, the Sony Xperia Z1 F comes with a 4.3 inch Triluminos display with the resolution of 720*1280 pixels. Sony has powered phone’s screen with X-Reality for mobiles. For smooth performance, it is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 along with 2 GB RAM, much like its bigger brother. The phone is running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Sony has designed the device with a single aluminium frame with tampered glass on the back and front panel. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 64 GB with the help of a microSD card.

The highlight of the Japanese version of Sony Xperia Z1’s miniature version is the 20.7 MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor along with BIONZ image processor. The alleged international variant of the phone is also expected to arrive with almost similar features.
